1kg. of fresh peas (frozen peas can be used if fresh not available) 5 fresh onions (with the green part of them) ½ cup of sliced fresh dill ½ cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt
Wash the peas. Wash the fresh onions and chopped them in thin slices, including the green leaves of them (cut the ones you see not appropriate). On a saucepan put the olive oil to preheat. Put the peas to brown it a little bit, stirring constantly. After a few minutes (5'-7') add the onions and continue browning for an extra 5'. Add water so to cover the peas. Add the salt (according to your taste) and dill. Cook in small heat until you see the water coming down and uncover the peas.
On the plate pour over the top a bit of extra virgin olive oil. |
